Welcome to the 2016 Applied Superconductivity Conference (ASC’16) to be held 4-9 September at the Colorado Convention Center in the “Mile High City” of Denver.
We celebrate 50 years of Applied Superconductivity Conferences set against the backdrop of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Denver offers a multitude of warm sunny days and pleasant nights to enjoy the many attractions in the area. The city has a high walkability rating and many parks and bike paths along waterways. Outdoor activities are within an hour’s drive while cultural activities, such as the Denver Art Museum, are nearby to the convention center.
We also offer the living technical sessions that build and extend the art and science of applied superconductivity that was started 50 years ago.
On behalf of the organizers, the ASC Board of Directors, and the many volunteers serving on the program committee who help arrange for a world-class conference, we welcome you to Denver in September 2016. We also bring you a dedicated editorial staff who will ensure a high-quality issue of the IEEE Transactions on Applied Superconductivity after the conference.
