Manuscript Submission

As in past years, manuscripts will be managed using ScholarOne Manuscripts (S1M).

The submission site is now open and can be accessed here.

An account has been created in S1M for each contact author who also submitted the abstract(s). An email was sent on 7/28/2014 to all contact authors with instructions and login information with the opening of the submission site. Only the contact author will be able to upload and submit the manuscript(s).  If this must be changed, please inform Annett D’Antonio by email to request the corresponding author change.

Once logged in to your account, you will be asked to update your profile, including the selection or addition of keywords. You will then be prompted for the following information:

  • The e-mail address of the contact author (if different from the email associated with the program ID number)
  • Your manuscript title
  • Information for all authors
  • Your manuscript abstract
  • A code provided with your paid conference registration or extra paper purchase
  • Your manuscript page count
  • Information regarding transfer of copyright

You will then be prompted to upload the manuscript files. That’s it!

Don’t forget to provide suitable references – use the extra page! Read the information provided below, information on IEEE web pages, and in the ASC’14 Special Issue article template. Take time to not only write but also edit your manuscript – a clearly written paper produces higher impact because main points can be understood better. Try to obtain feedback from a senior colleague and make corrections. If you do not write English as your first language, strongly consider having a native English-language writer review your manuscript.

Authors from teams or collaborations may combine articles and gain increased page limits. Instructions appear under a new combined papers policy.

Requirements for publication: IEEE-TAS publishes selected articles based on the outcome of peer review. The Special Issue is not a proceedings of the conference, and attendance and presentation at the conference does not guarantee publication of a manuscript. Presentation of the work at the conference at the scheduled time is a requirement for publication. The submitted manuscript is also expected to discuss the work presented at the conference.

Reminder: Be sure to use the current manuscript template and review the information on the Author Information page as well as the Author Resource page.

The manuscript submission deadline is Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
