GETTING FROM THE AIRPORT TO DOWNTOWN

BUS SERVICE

The Sprinter Bus is a new hybrid-electric bus that connects Charlotte Douglas International Airport to the City Center.

  • The bus runs every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends.
  • A ticket costs $2.00 each way.
  • You can roll your luggage on board.

TAXI CAB

The average taxi fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $22.00 before gratuity. The one-way trip takes about 15 – 20 minutes.

CAR

The airport is located eight miles west of downtown Charlotte, a 15 – 30 minute drive from the Charlotte Convention Center.
