Quantum Design

Quantum Design manufactures automated material characterization systems that provide temperatures from 0.05 to 1000 K, magnetic fields up to 16 tesla, and a wide range of measurements, including: magnetometry, electrical transport, heat capacity and thermal transport. Instruments include the Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS®), SQUID-based Magnetic Property Measurement System (MPMS®3), VersaLab, and PPMS® DynaCool. Quantum Design also manufactures advanced helium liquefiers (ATL80, ATL160) along with helium recovery systems, an IR crystal furnace, and a cryogen-free, high-gradient magnetic separator. In addition, Quantum Design International distributes scientific and industrial instrumentation through an international network of local direct offices in around the world.
