CTD sells over 20 electrical insulations worldwide for magnets and devices used for fusion, high-energy physics, medical, power distribution, industrial, and research purposes. Mechanical, electrical, and thermal testing services from cryogenic to elevated temperatures are also offered. CTD pioneered insulations enabling magnets for ITER, LHC, and medical applications including cyanate esters, hybrid ceramics for Nb3Sn, and materials for HTS. CTD licensed insulation qualified for ITER TF coils to LORD Corporation, who will supply all coil manufacturers in Europe and Japan.
