Accommodation Information
Five official ASC 2012 conference hotels are located on the convention center side of the river in downtown Portland, Oregon.
The reservation deadline has been extended to Tuesday, September 4, 2012. In order to get the conference rate, you must make your reservation but that date.
A limited number of rooms are available at the government rate, on a first-come, first-served basis. A valid U.S. government ID will be required at check-in.
Please note: An additional 2% Tourism Improvement District assessment will be enacted starting on October 1, 2012. All guests arriving into a hotel on or after October 1 will have an occupancy tax rate of 12.5% plus a 2% Tourism Improvement District assessment for a new total tax rate of 14.5%.
The Conference encourages students who are budget conscious to consider staying at the Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center where the nightly rate is US $106 plus 14.5% tax for single or double occupancy. This rate includes breakfast. The hotel has an indoor pool.

Doubletree Hotel Portland – is Portland’s premier convention headquarters hotel and the ASC 2012 official host hotel property. The Doubletree is conveniently located within a short walk of the Oregon Convention Center and the “MAX" light rail system, providing free five-minute service to downtown Portland as well as one way service from Portland International. The hotel is also across the street from Lloyd Center mall, one of Oregon’s largest shopping centers. Star Rating – 3. Conference Rate: US $188 per night plus 14.5% tax for single or double occupancy
