Getting to and around Chicago during the 2008 Applied Superconductivity Conference is easy!
Chicago has two major airports, O'Hare and Midway. Both have daily nonstop flights throughout the United States, with O'Hare servicing international markets including non-stops from Europe and Asia. Approximately 40 airlines serve the airport. Shuttle, taxi, limousine, rental car, and public transportation services are accessible through Midway and O'Hare.

Getting from the Airport to the Hyatt Regency is easy and you have a few options.
SERVICE TO/FROM O'HARE AIRPORT: (18 miles)
Airport Express*: From lower level baggage claim area. Runs daily every 15 minutes from 6:05am-7:45pm.
One-way (Single traveler) - $25.00 each
One-way (Party of two) - $18.00 each
Round trip - $46.00 each
Group fare (3 or more passengers traveling together to same destination)- $14.00 each
Children under 6 years free.
*Look for Blue and white vans with red lettering. Service for the disabled is available. Reservations are needed 1 day in advance. Call 888-284-3826. If guest is arriving today they must make reservations at least 4 hours prior to arrival.

Taxi: Approx $45.00 - $55.00
Train: $2 per person to and from O'Hare Airport. Pick-up below baggage claim area (follow signs to C.T.A.). Take "L-Train" Blue Line to Clark & Lake stop. Walk East on Lake St. 6 blocks, turn left on Stetson Avenue. Note: This method is not recommended if guest has more than 1 bag, as there are numerous escalators and turn styles. Guest can take a cab or walk from Washington stop.

Airport Express: From lower baggage claim area

Taxi: Approx $35.00 - $45.00
Train: $2 per person to and from Midway Airport. From the airport take the Orange Line to the State and Lake Street stop. Walk 1 block north to Wacker. Take a right on Wacker and the hotel is approximately 3 blocks.
GETTING TO OTHER BUS/RAILROAD STATIONS:
Amtrak (Union Station)- 1 1/2 miles - taxi approx $8.00
Greyhound Terminal - 2 1/2 miles - taxi approx $10.00
C & NW RAILROAD - Taxi approx $5.00
Venturing around Chicago by foot can be a great way to see the city; however the public transportation system is a great resource for further destinations. Chicago's extensive rapid transit system can take you to most destinations in the city by means of train or bus for a $2 fare.
